Reinforced concrete I is an introductory course to reinforced concrete design. The aim of the course is to give the basic of reinforced concrete design to learners. The course starts by revising geometrical properties of section and their influence in the design process and the defining materials involved ( concrete and steel ) and their their mechanical properties which are very important in the design process. Ones the above is done we proceed by studying steel-concrete association , adherences and bonding ,anchorage and then the course is concluded through simple compression and simple tension .
